Play test ready!

Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll skeletons won narrowly and will be featured in the play test. I'm also surprised that the imaginary "blarfingar" got votes so I decided to throw it into the play test but its a surprise where I put it. Once a few play tests have been done and the rules are in some semblance of order I'll get them posted.

In other news I ment to have card sheets ready this weekend end but had to go car shopping. So soon but not quite yet. They will definitely get posted with the rule book though.

Play Test Dungeon Design

Hey everyone,

That play test set is done, and now I'm working on designing the dungeon to test them with. I enjoyed the response to the first poll so I decided to do it again. This time I want to know what low level monsters to populate the play test with. Here are your options.

Rats : Tried and true, a young adventures standard fare.
Ooze : I'm a fan of JRPG's
Skeletons : Swarms of the undead get me excited
Blarfingars : C'mon Matt you can do better than those other generic things take this funny word and make a monster out of it.

Polling Closed

Polling is closed. My greatest thanks to everyone who voted. Paladin was a clear winner, and Agent had a winning vote, but Wizard and Artificer where dead even. So to avoid there be two artifact skill based players in the play tests I use my powers of what ever to declare Wizard the winner.

Cards are in production (albeit hand crafted production) stay tuned for more.

I finally sat down and tried to design some sort of logo. I went the minimalist route since this game is supposed to be fairly minimalist (compared to other Table Tops RPG's). If you care enough to voice your comments/suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments.

Archetype Poll

I've added 3 polls to the side bar. They are to help me decide what 3 archetypes (out of the 18 I'm using) to physically prepare for the alpha play testing. To help with voting here is a quick run down of the obvious (and some of the less obvious ones)


Forge Master: Equipment enhancing DPS
Pit Fighter: Dirty Fighting DPS
Barbarian: Pure Burst DPS
Wild Spirit: Animistic spirit channeling DPS
Strategist: Party movement based
Paladin: Dmg mitigation based tank


Artificer: Mechanical summoner
Hexer: Weakens enemies/ DPS
Wizard: Standard magical DPS
Druid: Healing/Buffs
